Jason Shwartz is an Emmy nominated Animation Director with extensive experience in broadcast television production, direction, social gaming and streaming video.  He has directed broadcast shows for Netflix, [adultswim], Comedy Central, Hulu, 20th Century Fox, SyFy, AppleTV, IFC, FX and Disney.  He graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with a degree in Film & Animation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jason is passionate about telling stories.  He works closely with dozens of artists through the entire animation pipeline. From storyboards, background design, character design, animation, and through composite, Jason directly guides artists in bringing cartoons to life!  He excels in a fast paced work environment, keeping to strict deadlines, while also daily communicating with and building up artists individual skill sets. 

Assembling amazing teams of animators and designers, Jason sits as Creative Director and Producer at his own studio, Green Shoe Animation, LLC<\/a>!  He has taken his desire to produce original content for broadcast, games, and the web and worked with companies including Disney Interactive, Marvel, ESPN, and Paws Inc. (Garfield).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jason is  actively involved in the larger animation community as a board member of ASIFA South and an Associate Professor of Animation at Kennesaw State University where he teaches Senior Thesis Animation Studio.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
